My Role

Often banking needs and wants are targeted for a single or dual income household. Even then, banking needs do not allow for savings in a specific saving buckets.

To create an app that allows users to create saving buckets for multiple groups where they can expense and saving towards a certain goal or any group outing.

My role as a designer is to create an app designed to make expenses and savings with people seamless. Simplifying human interactions related money easier through research, validation, ideation, prototype and extensive user testing.

How can we simplify money related activities with different human interactions in mind?

GENDER

Through secondary research I was able to discover a few things about the disparities between financial gap between men and women in day to day life. This disparity is also prominent in the financial spaces that translates into often larger issues of income inequality.

SOCIAL

40% of the consensus prefer money pinching and only prefer covering their share of the cost . In contrary there is a social sigma for people who vocalize their intent to spilt the bills and this often cause friendships to falter.
